Within 24 hours, Tropical Depression Ineng may intensify into a tropical storm, according to the 11 p.m. weather bulletin of PAGASA.

The state weather bureau said Ineng is less likely to make landfall on any part of the country.

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, the center of TD Ineng was estimated at 930 km east of Virac, Catanduanes (14.2 °N, 132.8 °E ).

Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph, while moving west northwest at 15 kph.

On Wednesday, August 21,  PAGASA said scattered light to moderate with at times heavy rains will prevail over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
