No online registration, no SSS salary loan

Social Security System (SSS) members who want to avail salary loan are all required to complete the online registration and application.

According to SSS’s Real-Time Process of Loans (RTPL) Quick Reference Guide, from November 11, all salary loans must be applied online.

According to SSS, members who want to avail of salary loans will need web registration. To make a salary loan, a member should register at www.sss.gov.ph.

Those without internet access can go to the nearest SSS Branch in their area to register and file a loan application at their e-Center facility.

SSS further clarifies that calamity, emergency, and education assistance loans must be applied to any SSS branches for documentary requirements but that the member must be registered with My.SSS as a mandatory requirement for the application.

Online registration SSS Salary Loan

All currently employed, currently contributing self-employed or voluntary member.
For a one-month loan, the member-borrower must have thirty-six (36) posted monthly contributions, six (6) of which should be within the last twelve (12) months before the month of filing of the application.
For a two-month loan, the member-borrower must have seventy-two (72) posted monthly contributions, six (6) of which should be within the last twelve (12) months before the month of filing of the application.
The member-borrower whose employer must be updated in the payment of contributions.
The member-borrower has not been granted final benefit, i.e., total permanent disability, retirement, and death
The member-borrower must be under sixty-five (65) years of age at the time of application
The member-borrower has not been disqualified due to fraud committed against the SSS.
